What data we process and for what purpose

• Contact form: name and email to reply to your enquiry.
• Piece reservations and commissions: name, email and message to manage your request.
• Kiln batch alerts: email, with your consent (double opt-in), to notify you of new pieces.
• Workshop sign-ups: name and email to manage your place or waiting list.
• Newsletter: name and email to send you news and campaigns, if you subscribed to the newsletter or have been a customer.

The legal basis is your consent and the legitimate interest of handling your request. We do not use the data for other purposes nor transfer it, except to the necessary providers listed below.

Newsletter and commercial communications

If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we process your name and email address to send you news, new pieces and campaigns. The legal basis is your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

If you have been a customer, we may send you information about pieces or services similar to those you acquired, in accordance with article 21.2 of the LSSI-CE, always with the possibility of objecting.

You can unsubscribe at any time from the link included in every email (immediate opt-out) or by writing to us. We keep a record of your consent (date and origin) while you remain subscribed; after unsubscribing, we keep your email on an exclusion list so we do not write to you again.

Retention

We keep the data for as long as necessary to handle your request and, afterwards, for the applicable legal periods. You can request to unsubscribe at any time.

Data processors

• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting, CDN and database.
• Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) — sending of transactional and newsletter emails. As it is located outside the EEA, the international transfer is covered by the provider's safeguards (standard contractual clauses).
• Cloudflare Turnstile — anti-spam protection of the form (no tracking cookies).
• Instagram / Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA) — some journal entries include videos embedded from Instagram. That content is loaded from Meta's servers when you reach the video section and may use its own cookies and process data according to its own privacy policy. International transfer covered by the provider's safeguards.

Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to myescpottery@gmail.com.

Cookies

This site does not use its own tracking or advertising cookies. Only storage that is strictly necessary for operation is used (admin session) and, in your browser, to remember your «likes». The only exception is the embedded Instagram content in some journal entries: when it loads (when you reach that section), Meta may place its own cookies. If you do not load those videos, they are not activated.
